BABY ONE MORE TIME is a 15 minutes preview for Jason Gwen's first evening length solo, THE LONELY PLANET, an one hour performance about the modern gay man in the present day, which will premiere in September 2013 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Technology (grindr, gayromeo) and modernization (darkrooms, sauna’s, glory holes) within the gay lifestyle, created more options for finding a partner. What if you are longing for natural encounters? The Lonely Planet is a moving portrait of the state I’m in, as a single gay man in the present day.

Every gay man has his own gay icon, because we can relate to them, Britney Spears is mine. In BABY ONE MORE TIME Jason acts, dances, raps, and is stepping 15 minutes into Britney's skin. By deconstructing and using Britney's first LP “Baby one more time”, in a way that he can tell his story. At the same time Jason comes one step closer towards feeling how it is, to be BRITNEY FUCKING SPEARS.
